Default SB What hands do I call / fold

Greetings all. I hope this doesn't sound like a horrible question but I'm here to learn so here it goes. This is purely a Small Blind question. I'm having the hardest time deciding when I should call the rest of the blinds or just muck my SB hand. Excluding when the pot odds are just too juicy , what type of range should I be playing with on small blind against the various types of tables (loose / aggressive etc) Tyvm for your time all, have a nice day.

Sorry, but I think the question is too broad. Too many possible situations. Give a couple of examples maybe?

I'm not one of the better players here but I will say it depends.....on a lot of factors. Not only whether the table is loose or tight but how many players are already in, what type of players they are, whether is raised or not, whether you think it is a steal situation or not, etc. Even the ratio of the size of the SB to the BB blind makes a different. If you are playing a level where the SB is say 1/3 the size of the BB, you complete less than you do if the SB is 1/2 the BB.

There are just too many factors to just give you a hand chart or something like that.

I think new players tend to complete too much. Just my opinion.

Post hands where you had hard time deciding. Since this is preflop only, you can post a bunch of them in one post. Then you'll get sensible answers, otherwise it's useless.

I'd suggest some books. Small Stakes Hold'em, Hold'em Poker For Advanced Players.

I was thinking hands that aren't superb but have chances, ie K-9 k-10 off Q-10 off 10-8 suited like these

This is still kinda hard to answer. Things like how many limpers there are and how aggressive the BB is really affect this. On top of calling, some of those hands are raises from the SB depending on conditions/prior actions.

without considering villains in the hand...just off the top of my head

with 3+ limpers, I will complete:
22-99, any 2 suited, 76o-KQo,A9o-AQo, K9o,KTo

with 3+ limpers, I will raise:
TT+, AK, AQs, KQs

Um, if there is one bad limper and a tight blind, I will probably consider this a steal-type situation and raise 55+,AT+,KJ+, maybe even QJ or JT.

If there is an early raise and a lot of cold callers, then I will be looking at small pairs and suited connectors.

Some people raise in SB with AJ/AQ after many limpers, but I don't. I think it is debatable.

Given that the pot is limp opened in front of you.
What ever you play remember that you will be out of position.
This means you must play stronger hands than you might think.

Its more important to have solid ideas about the conditions starting hands make money in and look for those to arise than have a hand chart in my view. PreFlop Ideas from SSHE are the general tip around here and its the easiest section.

Behind a lone raise you must be supertight from the sb- be reraising.

True, but the ridiculous odds you're getting means you can still play a lot of junk. And plus, it's quite possible you can have relative position in two different ways: if you have a solid draw you can deliver a nice left hook by check/raising the field if the guy on your left leads; if you have a weak made hand you can land a right cross by check/raising if the Button takes a whack after the field checks to him.
