The problem with this move is it violates one of the fundamental premises of winning poker. You want to put money into the pot, on average, with your good hands.

Who said we don't have a good hand? Does anyone not like our hand?

I'll send you a hand ranking chart

It is important to have this in your arsenal, especially if you have a nit like image and your raises are getting respected, but it is an adaption to make, rather than a starting point. If your opponents are folding KQ here then its a good idea to start with it.

So are the motivating factors of this move the characteristics of the board?
1) The two non-ace broadway cards scare most pocket pairs
2) All the ace hands under AK will be scared by the K
3) The lack of flush draws and straight draws (except QTs) make the raise more beleivable.

So you wouldn't make this play on a KhJh9s board, for instance, because too many hands would have a pair + straight draw, or a flush draw, and similarly, your hand would look more like a semi-bluff and thus have less FE?

44+ (33 unders, 4 queens, 9 sets, 3 aces)
A7s+, ATo+ (9 air, 24 gutters, 9 jacks, 9 kings)
KTs+,KQo (15 kings)
QTs+ (3 OESDs)
JTs (3 jacks)
T9s (3 gutshots)
98s (4 air)

So if he only plays on with queens+ or OESDs, he'll fold 85 of 128 combos, but if he peels with AQ-AT, he'll fold maybe 40% of the time (you'll suck out/chop occasionally).

Some day, before I die, I'd like to write a PokerStove-esque "texture analysis" application that looks at a hand range, and a board, and gives a chart similar to what I listed above. I think that wuold be awesome.

Until showdown, IF there is a showdown, both hands are air. This is why hands like k6o suck ass and even a hand like 65o is better.... and 65s is a billion million trillion times better. This notion you have put forward REEKs of limidonk.
