Default Fold based on a online tell?

Stars 11 rebuy near the end of the rebuy period. The table has become tighter. Blinds are 50/100 and I have 6k. 2 callers to me and I call 88 in the sb. Flop comes JJ7 and I bet half the pot. The caller in the CO instacalls and the others fold. Turn is some low card.My plan is to make another half pot bet on the turn and fold to any raise. I didn't have much of a read on CO but according to the PT stats he was moderately loose (about 28 VP$IP) in the rebuy period and not too aggressive.

Forget about the title and about the tell it didn't come out as I thought it would because I would have folded even without the instacall. Is my play on this hand standard?

yeah that's a fine way to play it. Sometimes I check the turn but then I don't know what to do if/when he bets.

FWIW I don't think the instacall on the flop is a tell implying a jack. I think I'd be more inclined to think a 7 based only on that.
