2+2 H&F Challenge?
We seem to have a number of people doing Rippetoe and similar workouts. I was remembering a gym I trained at a few years ago that had plaques up for people that did 150% and 200% of bodyweight for the squat, deadlift & bench. I thought we could do something similar.
Maybe a sticky listing names of people who hit all three of say 150% for bench and 200% for deads & squats. We could have a similar sticky for runners if we have enough of them here, or even a sticky listing everyone here who loses 50+ lb and keeps it off for 6 months? Thoughts? |

That would be pretty cool, but I think for legitimacy's sake it would have to be verified with video.

I can get pretty close to 200% on squats and deads I believe, but not to close on bench. My bench is weak, but I don't really do anything to try and bring it up. My goals are looking good more than having a monster bench [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I'm not really sure however, as I never perform 1 rep maxes.

Nice idea. I think it would be a great goal for a lot of people. And posting videos would be nice motivation to get it done. My 1RM is close for bench and dead, but squats are not even in the ball park. sucky.

Id be in, but I dont want anyone on here to know my face, and it would be awfully weird doing a big deadlift, while taping myself, in a ski mask.
