i think it is kind of ridiculous that you have to be a member to view hands in the blogs of people that use the CR hand converter.

what is up with that?

[/ QUOTE ]
I might be totally wrong, but I think you can just register for free and view the blogs. I'm fairly sure that there are three membership levels: Free (access blogs, buy videos), Silver (full access to everything except videos, but receive 25% discount on videos), and Gold (full access to everything).

DMoogle would be 100% right. Don't forget free HH converter.

CR doesn't have any advertisers like 2+2 or others sites do (at least I don't see any ads). In that case all of the content is supported by the subscriber revenue.

[/ QUOTE ]

is that because CR doesn't want anyone advertising? or is it because no one wants to advertise on their site?

i could see reasons for both.

that's crazy to say no one want's to advertise to a bunch of people with a lot of disposable income and to the most important demographic that advertisers care about (prob 16-30s). I haven't been to the new site but I'm sure they could at least make a bunch of money as an affiliate + other advertising. I'm sure if girls with blogs can make hundreds of thousand just on advertising CR can do the same and if they aren't they must not like money.

Actually, for a website that is grossing well over a million a year they shouldnt have had any problems at all.

Not hating, just stating.

i think it's fair to cut them some slack -- they are essentially going through the pains of growth from a "cottage industry" into a medium-sized business. But yes, in the future, I think we can expect better.
