If walking down the street be the one that walks closer to the street. This makes her feel safer because she has subconscious crazy thoughts of a car hitting her and you’re in front of the car and offer protection.





Just a bit of trivia. This is considered good manners because back when there was no indoor plumbing in the middle-ages, people would throw thier bucket of poop out the window, so the girl should be as close to the building as possible as to avoid the bucket of poop flying at the street.

Yeah, or when roads were still mostly unpaved, if a car or horse splashed a puddle, the guy got hit and not the girl.
