I think it could go either way but after Chuck's last 2 losses I'm not sure where his head may be at. Wanderlei took a lot of time off and seems as though he's pumped and ready to get back in there and rise to the top again.

When those 2 are standing in the ring doing the staredown while getting instructions from Big John McCarthy, I think everyone's gonna care a lot more then and be as excited as they've ever been for a fight.

This is about the equivalent of a Roy Jones Hopkins rematch to me now I have absolutely no interest in it as there is no mystique or intrigue.

I don't see why it's completely devoid of mystique to some of you? I can get on board and say this fight is 5x more fun last year when both guys are the respective UFC and Pride 205 pound champs, but c'mon. Wandy lost fights to two of elite fighters, while Chuck lost to what looks to be the best guy at 205 right now. Losing to Jardine hurts, but I don't think it sucks the air out of this thing.

I'm still plenty excited to see this fight, especially after all the big things (Fedor, Randy, HBO deal) that Dana screwed up in the past 3 months.

I def am excited to see this. Wandy is my favorite fighter (with rua a close second, [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] chute box) and I think that this should be a nice fun fight of MMA legends. But yeah, as stated, too bad it wasn't when both fighters were in their prime. what a fight that wouldve been...

dont see how ppl cant be excited for this fight

the crowd will be going crazy and both fighters are aggressive and exciting

just bc its not the biggest fight ever anymore doesnt mean its not a great main event (altho i guess the ww title will be the main event)

yeah it might not have the same meaning if this was 2 years ago, but there is still going to be a ton of pressure on them both to perform after 2 back to back losses.
