Default Office Chairs

I'm interested in investing in a classy, stylish, ergonomic desk chair. In the classiest forum on 2+2, I'm assuming there are a number of Aeron lovers and haters. Any recomendations? My office area has a modern, minimalist motif with light wood floors and desk.

You need to go into a place that sells these things and try them out for yourself. I was one click away from purchasing an areon off ebay but then figured I should at least sit in one first.

So I went to a "relax the back" store and wasn't really impressed with the Areon. Turned out I much preferred the human scale freedom.

If you're buying for your office consider getting in touch w/ Sterling Interior Groups.

I have one of these, ( http://www.amazon.com/Leap-Chair-Fully-F...8929&sr=8-3 ) , and I like it very much. Good looking, yet simple and very comfortable.

Admittedly it does not look as good as the Freedom, possibly because I think the headrest looks classy, but it's worth checking out.

i'm surprised that people give so much thought to office chairs. as long as it's soft and comfortable, it's cool w/ me.

however, big comfy chairs like la-z-boys would be more interesting to discuss b/c there's a great disparity in comfort and styles

My vote is for the Humanscale freedom. Although I would suggest getting the headrest. I did not, and wish I had. You can't add it later. Either way, this chair is spectacular.

you need to visit a store that specializes in these ergonomic products. Many people go for some Herman-miller product or Humanscale. I tried both aeron/Humanscale, I found humanscale more comfortable personally but I got a HM-Mirra because it has netted-sits which keeps the sits cool even in summer.

but yeah people have different preference so go visit one of them stores.
