judging by the occasionally abusive PMs i get, they sometimes get banned for a short time.

Personally, I don't really care about someone making a single ninjabump of a classic post. If you see someone going nuts with many posts, though, that's what makes me want to break out the banhammer.

The difference is that a ninja bump is typically just one character/word which has no meaning.

It comes down to intention, although I like what you did with that.

It's not my place to do so. Besides, it could simply be a case of a guy deleting his post because he decided it wasn't necessary. That would bump the thread too. I think the fact that this thread is about ninja bumping probably makes that less likely though.
