1/3 live, hand I blotched

Live 1/3, hero has ~500 and villain covers. New to this casino game, but villain has a reputation of being very good and AGGRESSIVE. People at the 3/6 kill table were talking about him while I was waiting to get into the NL game. Villain probably views me as tight passive. Was very cold carded, I didnt show down a lot or play a lot. Have been at the table for 2 hours.

Hero checks, villain bets 30, hero calls.

Thoughts: I should have led the flop. My plan initially was to float his flop bet and take it on the turn, regardless of what it was, because I felt he viewed me as someone he could easily boss around. Obviously the royal draw on the turn changed everything. Basically I think I really screwed the turn up here, should have c/r it. River is an interesting card, c/c here good?

I really screwed this hand over, please have mercy.
