Default PokerStars NL $25 - ATo in LP - call 1/2 pot bet on river?

I felt I had the best hand at flop and turn - how would you have handled the river? Also, should I have bet the turn or is the check good?

Villain is 42.5/7.5/2.3.

I call river, but it's close as a lot of draws got there. I think I like b/f the turn against this guy more though.

If you state that you believe you have the best hand on the turn, then I suggest betting the turn. If he c/r the turn, then you can dump your hand pretty easy. Checking the turn allows him to stab at any river card that completes a draw...whether or not he got there. As played I'd probably fold river. What part of villain's range do you beat that he's betting less than 1/2 pot on river?

You're right, we're often behind here. The problem is that with such good odds we have too look it up and see if it's a worse ten or bluff or something.

IMO you have to call following your turn check. You also see random stuff here as villain often thinks that your c-bet was a pure-bluff.
