Default Valuing Betting

Playing against a pretty bad player, he is not creative at all and he has really only seemed to want to get it all in with relatively strong hands but we've only played about 100 hands though.

Hero is dealt 88 in sb raises to 6 villain calls.

Flop Ac 4h 5s (12)- I vary my bets and checks here, against this villain I almost definitely should have bet I just reacted to quickly and checked because this villain had folded to the last 3-4 cont. bets I had made and figured that this board would be a good board to pull a bluff-semi-bluff on so thought I would check behind for pot control and possibly value later in the hand.

Turn 3d (12)- He checks to me and I check, nothing special.

River 8 (12)- He now leads for 12, we have not played enough rivers to really give any insight as to what this could be. This villain is somewhat of a slowplayer with big hands so I felt sets and two pairs were possible. Is this just a call behind or am I losing value by not raising. Btw eff. stack sizes were 120 to start the hand.

Default Re: Valuing Betting

im fine with a call here. if you raise you will likely only get much action from a straight.
