uh no. AP3 was terrible but AP2 > AP1. i thought based upon the OP that the original had to be good but the sequel better. austin powers fits this classification unless you have a horrible sense of humor.

I disagree on a few mentioned in this thread; Matrix > Matrix 2, Alien > Aliens, Godfather I > Godfather II.

Alien vs Aliens is close and they are very different, but I think I liked Alien better.

The only one anyone's mentioned that I agree with is Aliens > Alien. Spiderman 2 I guess had to be better than Spiderman but that's just because Spiderman blew so hard that it would be impossible to make a suckier sequel, they clearly used up all of their suck in making the first one.
