1/3 live, hand I blotched
Live 1/3, hero has ~500 and villain covers. New to this casino game, but villain has a reputation of being very good and AGGRESSIVE. People at the 3/6 kill table were talking about him while I was waiting to get into the NL game. Villain probably views me as tight passive. Was very cold carded, I didnt show down a lot or play a lot. Have been at the table for 2 hours.
Hero is UTG with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], raise to 20, villain cold calls, all others fold. Flop 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($44) Hero checks, villain bets 30, hero calls. Turn J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($104) Hero thinks, checks, villain bets $75, hero calls. River A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($254) Hero...? Thoughts: I should have led the flop. My plan initially was to float his flop bet and take it on the turn, regardless of what it was, because I felt he viewed me as someone he could easily boss around. Obviously the royal draw on the turn changed everything. Basically I think I really screwed the turn up here, should have c/r it. River is an interesting card, c/c here good? I really screwed this hand over, please have mercy. Thanks and happy holidays! |
