Default AKo - I think I\'m beat on flop...

MP3 is 22/0 over 50 hands. When I'm raised on the flop I figure he's maybe hit 2 pair, KJ seems likely, but I continue betting at him...not quite sure why! Thoughts?

Crappy river. You played the hand fine though.

I think you did fine here. This looks more like a flush draw/completed flush though rather than two pair. 3-betting the flop with TPTK is good, leading the turn is mandatory. You honestly can't fold the river getting 1:1x odds, even though a bet/fold line would be good in a smaller pot.

From a newb - I would tend to check/call the river when the flush card pops out - is this too timid?

So cap pre-flop, you didn't post any reads on SB, so I don't know if that was a well thought out process. But it sure limits your range of hands others will put you on.

And by that you are probably letting your opponent know when he can raise. You played it fine postflop. I'm just wondering if you didn't lay out your hand in the open.

With a read that MP3 will river bet with any hand that he'd play like this, you could consider a c/c on the river. Without it, your line is fine.

I wasn't overly concerned about the SB, his stats over 32 hands were 44/28 and had only won 20% of pots at showdown. Although had I not paired on the flop I may have folded to any aggro from him, as it's possible he had a pocket pair.

C/C the river. The T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] completed flushes, str8s, and 2-pairs.

If you can't b/f that river, you should just c/c.
