I'm all fro ya; degenning it up thr in BKK, but this mindset of Thai girls, even working girls, being just bitches, is going to lead you down a road of srs probs rather soon.

A little repsect goes a long way in Thailand.

[/ QUOTE ]

Before I was acting more or less respecfuly with working girls.

Then I went out a few times with thai guys friend of mine.

I learned.

Now I treat them like whores and since that I never been so succesful with bargirls ( paying their own barfine, buying me stuff, sending me love txt messages, no long time shorted to short time [censored] anymore and so on... )

you know what?

Whores need pimps

What are the main sports there? Would I have any chance of ever getting a pick up basketball game anywhere?

[/ QUOTE ]

If you find a place to play, please PM me. I would like to go play. I'm here in Bangkok..

I'm seriously considering visiting and moving. As per usual I'm trying to convince my buddy Assani to come with me.

First question, it is possible to play basketball in bangkok? Is there gyms and such where you can go play?

Second question, is at all possible to get football or basketball on satellite? This is of the utmost importance to me and us for that matter.

Third question, my friend is a beer snob. Do they have Sierra Nevada pale ale or Blue moon beer available?

Also I would like to add, that I have spoken with the Thai embassey in DC and they told me that it is okay to bring Adderall into the country as long you have in its orignal bottle and a script with it. So that helps me and others I would assume.

you know it's a capital city with millions of people living there, so yeah.

Espn is available and football and stuff too probably

Nobody drinks that outside of the us, he will get used to local piss ( or go to the german pubs )

[/ QUOTE ] Your friend is only pretending to be into beer. No real beer snob likes Blue Moon. There's a place in Bangkok called Belgian Beer Paradise. I'm not sure if they have other premium beers, but I wouldn't complain if I could only drink Belgian beers for the rest of my life.

On a serious note, get the "sure, you can bring adderall into thailand" thing in writing. The last thing you want is being arrested or detained for bringing amphetamines into the country and having your excuse be "but, but, but, they told me it was ok."
edit: I'm almost positive you'd only be able to bring a 30-day supply no matter how long you plan on staying. This has to do with US law (it's a schedule III drug so the doctor has to essentially re-prescribe it every month) not Thai law. No sane doctor is going to prescribe you multiple months worth of adderall at once due to potential for abuse.

You could send them a physical letter asking if it would be ok to bring your prescribed amount of adderall into the country. They would send you letter on the consulate's stationary saying it would be ok and you could bring this with you in case of a problem.

Just to be clear, this is on the 1% chance they're not on the same page as you or the Thai government, eg, they think you're bringing your blood pressure medication or something or falsely believe that you can get it in Thailand. Read about Thai prisons and you'll understand that you do not want to f around with drugs in any circumstance.

fwiw, I usually travel with hundreds of pills (vitamins, tylenol, antacids, antibiotics, random crap I've gotten) and have never been questioned crossing borders.

So how is the current situation in Thailand for online poker? Most sites working or have easy work arounds to get to them? How hard are they trying to block poker sites?
