You said your horse wanted an appearance fee. That is fine, I never doubted that. You did say he wanted 100k which is quite a bit, especially someone over 50 years old. Guys like Roddick and Blake do one time exhibition for around 50k.

I was not serious when I said you owed me $500k for crying out loud. This whole post was about you and I thought I could add a little fuel to the fire.

So back to our original idea for a bet. Are you still interested? Will you reveal the hidden identity of your horse?

My horse is asking for a bit more than I'm willing to give. He wants a (large) piece of the action on top of his usual exhibition match fee. And if I don't give it to him I fear he may dog the match.

So, anyway, we're still talking and I'm hopeful we can make a bet.

My horse is touring overseas right now and not answering emails.

If he and I can come to terms when he gets back, you've def got a bet.
I've got an alternate in mind in his mid-40's, in which case I would lay a small price.

This one was a joke. I then offered to pay $100k to have his Horse show up.

Biggest prob is he garners a large (six fig) appearance fee for exhibition matches and has little incentive to train or take match seriously. Any time I try to incentivize him with bonuses for a win, he balks.

So I can't book until I'm reasonably assured that he won't show up, get paid, and phone in the match.
