wow this sucks. Fold

[/ QUOTE ]

What sucks? The way the hand played out, or the fact that OP is even contemplating a call here?

The way the hand played out. It is a fold, but I hate throwing aces away

I don't fold here. You will be amazed at the hands people show up with in spots like this. For this price I am not folding here.

Edit: After more thought, close to zero chance I fold, over 2-1 on my money, at .5/1, a call here is +EV IMO.

Calling off half your stack when you aren't pot commited (to the action of raise, call, reraise, 4-bet AI, 5-bet MR) isn't +EV, IMO.

How is the percentage of your stack relavent? This is not a tournament, you can reload.

You are currently behind a set or two pair and that is it. I believe these players ranges are large enough to give your AA over 30% equity. Its a clear call IMO.

Edit: And there really isn't a clear two pair hand out there. So that leaves just a set. If you think one of these guys could show up with Q7, etc, then their overall range is HUGE.

Given that action, I don't understand how you think you have over 30% equity here. In your opinion, what's BB's range?

I think it is important to see that the BB is calling the SB who is a short stacker according to OP.

BB himself is not exactly a world class player based on his stats even if its a small sample.

Therefore, ask yourself, does he fold a mid to big Q here, I don't think so. Weak players love TP.

AQ,KQ,77,33,Ad3d, and small chance at QJ and other nut flush draws. He also could show up with a dumb slow play of KK.

To fold here I think you have to put him on a set and I don't see myself giving him that tight of a range while getting over 2-1 on my call.

I don't have poker stove on this machine, what is AA equity against???

I realize these guys are retarded, but I'm still not folding. I believe you will see some random Q hand or a flush draw (or since they are both in the hand, likely both) and you will see that AA is the best hand at least more than 33% of the time. Given that info, gettin 2 to 1, I'm calling and hoping I'm ahead.

Based on the action, easy fold. With those stats in BB, I might raise a little more pre-flop also, to isolate. But you probably know that.

IMO.
