Default US Players on Party...Anybody?

Does anyone here play on PartyPoker from the US with a foreign account? I will have an opportunity in the next three weeks to create an account in a foreign country with active Neteller, bank account, physical address, foreign passport..the whole enchilada; but I just want to make sure before I go through all the trouble that once I get back to the US, I will actually be able to use the account. Anybody?

I read in another thread that they check IP addresses. A Euro player tried to play on his account while staying in Florida. He only got access to play money games.

I`m not sure. As far as I remember it was a Swedish guy. I think it was the old Official Party Regulars thread and was about maybe 7-8 weeks ago.

i tried a VPN service, couldn't get it to work. i'm considering using a program called "hide my ip" it's 30$, not going to post a link though, just google it. it even states on the webpage:

"YES YOU CAN USE THIS TO CONNECT TO PLAY ONLINE POKER" gl...and most importantly, keep us posted.

I believe "hide my ip" is a proxy service. There are many proxy services that available for a fee. I have the opposite problem. I am looking to try and get on Bodog but they don't accept Canadian players yet.

I am Canadian and I was wondering why you guys want to play at PartyPoker? I hope it isn't for the the easy competition cause there aren't that many fishes at the 1/2 NL anymore since they band US players.

How much would people pay for the ability to connect through a proxy in say, Canada.
