Default Soliciting ideas for a 65th bday present for my Dad

So my Dad is turning 65 this weekend, and we are having a small little family surprise gathering for him. The problem is, I have no idea what to get him anymore. He's retired and isn't too big on hobbies - they can summed up mainly by playing Keno and drinking Miller Lite (gee, I wonder who I take after). I have a couple joke gifts I'm going to get, like a box of golf/keno pencils, but I can't come up with anything "real" to get him. Also he is not into technology at all. He has a computer but never even turns it on.

Help me OOT.

Buy him one of those beer of the month club memberships where they ship him beer. Then maybe he will drink something other than Miller Lite.

What about a weekend at Foxwoods? Does he like casinos? Slot machines/keno/bingo/etc?

There's gotta be some hobbies.

Also, if he walks laps in the mall then your dad might be my grandfather.

Does he drink scotch? I got my Dad a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue for his 70th, worked out well for both of us.

Nope, he won't drink anything but Miller Lite.

Foxwoods is good, I get him a weekend at Foxwoods every year for x-mas. Sadly, Let-it-ride is his game - he just refuses to listen to my EV lectures.

Also, I swear 100% he walks laps in the mall. I didn't know I had any nephews on 2+2.

Get him a NetFlix or Blockbuster subscription. That seems like a pretty good present for someone with no hobbies.

it's a good idea, but i know for sure he would never use it since it involves the computer.

Lol

Well, if this idea is no good, I would just take him out to a really nice dinner. I have this same problem with my grandmom -- she just doesn't have too many hobbies. But, she loves spending time with me, so taking her out to dinner is typically a really good present.
