It's fine here at my local coffee shop but not in my APT in Boston. Maybe down for people with Comcast?

i think you're right as i wasn't able to use it this morning, but it is working my office. comcast is my home provider.

Yeah, have Comcast, although just checked again (prior to doing anything with the router and modem) and it's working. Weird.

EDIT: And can't access it again. arrrrgghhhh!

Comcast is probably having their famed DNS issues, there is a work around to use AT&T's DNS server (much more reliable) if you are tech savvy. Let me know if you want the details.

I know how to build computers, but I'm not as strong on the software end of things. Gimme the details though and I'll try it, really need to access some emails.

Go into your control panel -> network connections -> Find the connection you are connecting to the internet with -> right click -> properties -> Under the General tab go to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) -> Properties -> Use the following DNS server addresses -> 4.2.2.2 -> 4.2.2.1

Click OK, you may have to restart your lan connection but you should now be using AT&T's DNS server which is a hell of a lot more reliable than Comcast's.
