Ok, in all seriousness (sorry) I'm down with every aspect of this story except one. How does OP not become awakened until all this is over? I've never had to rescue a drowning man in the middle of the night. But I have lived with plenty of roommates (that is ugly to type). I'm pretty sure that if some fraction of us were trying to rescue a dying person, it would be SOP to go ahead and wake up everyone in the house.

Killer breaks back in and finds DD flopping around in a dryer set to "cottons only".

Killer awakens Female Roommate (FR). She may or may not have "drying" to do, so she comes to his aid. She does this in spite of her wearing hand-cuffs and an impossibly heavy backpack.

FR and Killer break back in to the Laundry Room.

DD is shrinking fast and whirling around in a clock-wise fashion.

Neither Killer nor FR are tall enough to hit the "STOP" button on the dryer. They use a chair to break back out of the "Suds and Duds" room.

Racing back to her apartment, FR flips over a fence and falls in the pool. She survives.

Killer breaks back in to check on DD (Dryer Doofus).

Dripping wet, FR awakens Male Roommate (MR), but not OP (Original Perp). Upon hearing the story, MR pees himself.

FR changes her clothes in her room, MR strips in the living room and leaves his soggy clothes on the counter.

FR and MR charge back to the scene of the soap and bust in.

Too late. DD has lived up to his initials.

Killer, FR and MR use the power cord from the adjacent dryer to break out and call 911.

OP wakes up and arrives in time to see the remains (beef jerky) covered by a handkerchief.

Detectives suspect Cheer and Tide were involved.
