Vixitcator
-Garcia's value is tied to Artest/Salmons/Bibby/Martin. I would certainly get rid of him for Gasol + another decent starter, maybe a decent point guard with some 3s to help your team.

4 High
-Cut both, no need - I assume that's Corey Brewer btw.

Franchise 60
-Don't love Wade with the way he plays, but stats are sick. I still go with LBJ/Marion/KG/Kobe before him. Absolutely Paul over Nash in a keeper, Nash by a small margin in a regular league.

Also, I drafted Amare over Paul, not liking the foot injury vs. the knee. Starting to regret...

Ty Thomas is still on the waiver wire in a shallow league, not C-eligible.

Drop Brendan Haywood?

I know it's early, but im near last place right now. I thought my team was good. I'm thinking it's probably not deep enough.
Standard 12-team roto league with 2+2ers. FG% FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK TO. So far I'm way behind in FT%, 3PTM and doing ok in BLK and REB. How much dead weight do I have?

PG Baron Davis
SG Kirk Hinrich
G Randy Foye
SF Shawn Marion
PF Al Jefferson
F Francisco Garcia
C Dwight Howard
C Al Horford
Util Ime Udoka
Util Rudy Gay
BN Joakim Noah
BN Jose Calderon
BN Damon Stoudamire
BN Elton Brand
BN --empty-- - - - - - - - - -

That's not a no, that's a hell no. It's rare in fantasy basketball for a trade where you are giving away the best player to be a good trade for you.

Ime Udoka is fairly dead weight, but nothing too bad. Why are you starting Foye? And why do you have an empty bench spot? Dont get TOO far behind on games played

I just dropped some guy named Jason Smith and Juan Carlos Navarro. I haven't started Foye, obv., but he'll be a starter if/when he comes back. I'll be picking up some 3pt or block specialists asap to fill the bench spots. Also, is it worth holding Brand? He could be useful down the stretch.

20 Team 5 cat league, 6 starters, weakly HTH, my lineup right now

is Andre Miller, Ricky Davis, Shawn Marion, LMA, Kaman, Ryan Gomes.

Not a whole lot on my bench: Jason Williams, Luis Scola, Anthony Parker, Ronny Turiaf. Anyway, got offered Paul Pierce and Rashard Lewis for Marion and Gomes...

8 cat, H2H, weekly lineups. Debating who to start next week.

If it helps, I am starting the following for sure:
PG Chauncey Billups (4 games)
PG Kirk Hinrich (3)
PG John Salmons (4)
SG Paul Pierce (4)
SF Shawn Marion (3)
PF LaMarcus Aldridge (4)
C Andrew Bynum (4)

If you disagree with any of my locked-in starters, feel free to say that too. Thanks for the help!

HB,
I'm in your league (+EV) so you can take my advice with a grain of salt.
It's still super early, and there's still alot of flux. I was last place like 2 days ago and now am in the middle.
You have a really good core with Baron, Hinrich, Marion, AlJeff and Howard but you are definitely lacking depth. Ime Udoka is not useful IMO, and you have some other guys who are limited specialists (calderon, noah for now prob.) and guys who will lose PT soon like garcia when artest comes back.
With Baron and Howard FT% is possibly a lost cause so you may want to just bail on that cat. Other than that you aren't too far out of it in anything.
I'd hang on to Brand for now at least.
Personally I have some guys that I would play but can't so if you are looking to add depth we could talk trade, you have some guys I'm interested in.
Good luck regardless, I hope this league stays active cuz roto sometimes gets pretty dead as the season goes on.
