I tend to 4bet shove PF, but I don't see anything wrong with calling.

On the flop, your intention is to CRAI, no?

Once that plan fails, I would bet the turn, as others have said.

I'd push PreFlop.

I'd push the Flop.

I'd push the Turn.

I'd push the River. (Especially here as I want this to seem like an overbet/steal and induce a call).

Is this a troll post? Perhaps I'm just really, really slow, but I don't understand why pushing all in is the best play to maximize gain in this hand. What worse hands are going to call us? Am I overestimating my opponent here?

this case isnt really about "what worse hands are going to call us" because we have huge equity on every street.

its just the fact that while shoving may be a bit of an overbet its not so huge that its bad

I'm not a forum regular but I'm not a troll.

Pushing PF - Unless you have a dead on read that CO is raising AA/KK, I think that keeping your foot on the pedal and pushing is the best way to get all CO's chips in PF, thereby maximizing potential gain (or loss).

Alot of times AK needs to see all five cards. CO might have had JJ. What would you have done if the clubs didn't hit the flop and he CB'ed?

Pushing the flop is also a way to maximize gain as you are on a draw to the nut flush and hopefully your overcards will be good as well. That gives you 9+3+3 for 15 outs to win. CO would call here also with overpair.

Pushing the turn - Since CO checked the flop (and should have bet to protect against the flush), you can narrow his range to med PP, AK, AQ, AJ type hands. By pushing here, you charge the PP to see the river and avoid sucking out with a set. Same thing with AQ/AJ. You may be ahead now but on fifth street anything can happen.

Pushing the River - As I posted, you want to induce a bluff. You could do that my checking again but what are the odds that CO will bet a PP with that turn? By overbetting, you look weak and hope to get a big call from an unbeliever.

My two cents, Rod

Listen Popped Rod. And read something about "Maniuplating the pot size". This is a cruical concept for getting better on poker. Slowplay is only good for showing the table, "look, i'm not checking with nothing only, so be careful and do not be aggressive against me" and had to be done 1 or max. 2 times.

Edit : It's 3 A.M here and i'm too lazy now, i'd be writing things about manipulating pot size, but search for Bond18's post here.
