Default 400NL - flopped set facing scary action on the turn.

villain is 23/13/3 (800hands) tagfish reg. Standard to just let it go here? He is kinda weak so I didn't think he would lead this flop with just a random flush draw -- BB is like a 75/50 megafish. Also, if he had something like Ah6h or 86s or Ah3h I expect that he just gets it in on the flop.

Could definitely be aces with the Ace of hearts or Queens with the Q of hearts, etc.

I would expect overpaired hearts to likely jam the flop and sets/straight to play it more aggressively as well.

It's a call.

Do work,

Rob

versus an unknown this is a call but I hope you would have notes against a reg as to ranges they will be donk shoving with.

This is not a common spot at all so despite the fact that I play alot with him, I find his line pretty confusing.

Just a thought but can we help avoid these tough decisions by making a bigger flop raise. Then there is more in the pot & less behind to make calling a Turn push an easier decision.

Calling the flops make the pot 56+40+40 = $136. You raised to 128 which is 128-40 = $88 raise into a $136 pot.

If instead you made a full raise (136+40) = 176 to go, on the Turn the pot would be 56+176+176 = $408 with only ~$260 behind and an easier call.

I dont have time to check my math but I think the concept is sound.

his hand just picked up more outs. easy call imo. I just can't see him donk shoving flushes.
