Justify this call

3-6 NL short handed, all players have approx 500-600 dollers
1 limper
I raise to 24 in CO with AA
Button reraises to 50
limper calls
I reraise all in
Button folds
limper types "AA???" and calls with AK
Flop comes KK6

End of story. Cant imagine why he would call here, Awfully loose in my opinon. First hand at the table so I nor did he have a read on each other.
