I just picked this up out of curiosity... just from skimming, the book is in a similar format at the DB books: "How Good is Your ..." with a problem, then with answers and scores.
Also watched the intro on the DVD - haven't watched it entirely so can't comment on the content and advice but the overall quality of the DVD production is quite good especially compared to the low budget production of Howard Lederer and Annie Duke's DVD. I will try to go through the content over the weekend and will post a review. |

someone mentioned the sam o'connor book in thread. i like his writing style and the stories. but i do wonder about some of the advice. i can give an example if someone wants (from memory, i think the one chapter didn't mention stack sizes which is obviously very important, and especially so for the example).... book seems overly tight in laying down big hands. i stress again that i'm talking about sam o-connor's not the book in the thread title.
