Default UB 120 TPTK triple value bet fold to shove

I've gotten my chips from hitting sets and people having big hands. Kinda active since but nothing spewy. Villain is either new to table or i'm not awake enough. Haven't seen him do much.

Hero: 7600
Villain: 4650

Blinds 20/40 Hero holds A
[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in MP1.

Preflop: Folds to hero, hero raises to 120, MP2 calls, 4 folds, BB calls.

Flop: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (Pot 380)
BB checks, Hero bets 270, MP2 calls, BB folds.

Turn: T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (920)
Hero bets 650, MP2 calls.

River: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2220)
Hero bets 1000, MP2 shoves 3605, hero folds.

Does this all look good? Vs a known good player i'd check at some point, but vs unknown is bet/bet/bet okay?

i like it as long as the villain's main game is not omaha...

I think we lose way to much value against an unknown to check any of these streets.

Bet bigger on river, partly because you don't want him to accidentally value shove a worse hand when you intend to fold and partly because you can get more value. 1200 looks good.

yea, come to think of it i don't really like the less than 1/2 pot bet much either... it looks a little blockingish and more importantly it misses value as there is nothing calling for 1000 but folding for 1300

yeah, it's a fine point but I think 1300 is much better.
