Re: jury service monday
Go, pretend not to speak English. This works even better if you are Asian.

Re: jury service monday
Or just go and tell them you're prejudiced. They don't seem to want prejudiced people on their juries.
The last time I was at jury duty: Judge: Do you think you can be unbiased with regards to this case? Tik: No. Judge: That's too bad (shaking his head in a disapproving manner). You are dismissed. |

Re: jury service monday
I was worried about jury duty when I had to do it. But it just ended up being me sitting around for a couple of hours until they told they had no cases.

Re: jury service monday
if you have important stuff to do just postpone, otherwise just go and get it over with, it's really not that bad (and I say this have recently done jury duty in brooklyn).

Re: jury service monday
Don't have to say you are predjudiced. Just say that you are very analytical, and have to use a lot of logical thinking in your line of work. The attorney with the weakest case will kick you out.

Be sure to exercise your duty to judge the law in question as well as the facts of the case.
