Default What do you put the villain on?

I accidentally folded this hand, and im pretty pissed about it. anyways villain is 17/10/2, but i havnt played him a lot. The more i think about it, i think he had a slowplayed set, but it could be KQ of clubs, what do u guys think?

First bet flop bet a little more on turn and definitely bet more on the river. He could have had 44 or caught a back door flush. This guy is pretty bad. What are your reads on his raising is he raising the strength of his hand. What does his min. raise mean or is this his standard donk raise. I am definitely not folding here.

I'm thinking you misplayed every street. River fold is actually probably the best play you made all hand.

My advice is to raise to $8-9 preflop, bet the flop, bet more on the turn and then shove the river.

Bet more on the turn if you check the flop. Bet the pot.

On the river, he probably backdoored a flush (or a straight with some king of A2s hands), and if you accidently folded, then you saved some money.

If you check the flop and bet the turn, I see no reason to value be the river when any 2 makes a straight and a club hits the river. It really seems like he's drawing on the turn. So, you could've checked behind on the river when the club fell.

the sick thing is i put him on TT.
if he had AXc, would probably bet the flop. so i count that out. he would never play a deuce in this situation cuz the min raise he did. i really feel like he had neither KQc or TT.
any thoughts?

Easier said than done, "you must plan your hand before you act." You should have an idea about what to do on later streets (like if/then/else then/etc.)when making decisions on present street. In case you had the intention to make a $15 bet on the river in case a club should fall (having the intention when you made the turn bet), you actually gave him correct odds to draw to a flush.

I think his min rs pf is more likely to be A2 than TT. I can also see him checking the flop with this hand. The way the hand played out, it just fell in his lap if he did have A2 clubs.

he gave him like 2.8:1? how do you figure?

As you've already heard, raise more PF, bet the flop. Pot the turn, if he calls that shove the river.
