Any electro house fans out there?
Hey all,
Recently been to some crazy club nights at the warehouse project, Manchester. And have been really getting into the new electro house scene that is getting big over here in the UK. Basically im looking for any advice maybe from other DJ's/House enthusiasts on some of the best 'dirty electro' tunes out there at the minute. Some examples of the stuff i like are really bassy heavy tunes for eg: Petter - Some Polyphony Krafty Kuts - Bass Phenomenon Mason-Exceeder Anyone with similar music tastes- send me some song names as im having trouble finding songs when i hear them out in a club.. I also like 2manydj's / Soulwax type stuff.. All help appreciated, Scott. |

Re: Any electro house fans out there?
Some of that is good.
I am more of a breakbeat man myself, but you can find plenty of progressive or breaks DJs who play this side of things too. Plus breaks tends to have more bass than this kind of music, though I suspect a few of these genres are invented so that they can put the same type of music in the spotlight again, out of turn. http://www.hybridized.org/ Mods: I am pretty sure that that site is completely legal - the artists all send in the mixes. However, I don't know if that's all it takes. Whilst they make most of the stuff themselves, and they all gave permission to host it, I don't know if it's covered by broadcast like radios are... You can kill the link if you want of course. But that site's good. Here're a couple of mixes I like: http://www.hybridized.org/sets/328 http://www.hybridized.org/sets/233 |

Re: Any electro house fans out there?
Definately check out Audion: Mouth to Mouth, probably the biggest hit in Berlin last year, I haven't seen many tunes that get that kind of a reaction in my clubbing career.
Other tunes: Gavin Herlihy: Machine Ate My Homework Booka Shade: In White Rooms Booka Shade: Trespass 06 Digitalism: Jupiter Room Sebastien Leger: Little Bug Stephen Bodzin: Pendulum Stephen Bodzin: Kerosene |
