I'm not a huge numbers guy, can someone tell me very briefly why USC is not being considered more for the NC?

USC only has one real quality win (ASU) and lost their marquee matchup against Oregon. Add that to losing to a hapless Stanford team and the fact that they kinda backed into the PAC10 title when Dixon went down and Oregon collapsed.
