I'm just confused why we check call the turn but check fold the river when we hit a pretty good card

Well, I was basically getting good odds to just try and hit a jack. I could also continue if I hit an ace or a king if I feel as if I'm ahead. I folded the river basically because I can't really beat anything that plays the flop and the turn in that manner and then bets the river. The only hand I can really think of is JJ, but even JJ probably checks behind on the river

I would have played it the same. The turn call is worth making to try and spike a J, and maybe an A or K to try and showdown top pair. A lot of people would call on the river but I like the fold.

Is a bet of 100 on the river a good idea? Sort of a stopper bet and you can fold safely to a reraise?
What are people putting CO on? Looks like AK to me.

I'm check-calling this river. You're getting good odds. A read on CO would have been nice. He's mini raising you preflop- will he do that with a hand like KQ or AJ? There isn't that many hand in a normal reraising range that you're behind and that are playing the flop and river like this, unless he's a donk who's slowplaying a set or an over pair on this draw heavy board. His line looks like AK, doesn't it?

That was the one hand he could have that I don't lose too, but I still thought a flopped set/two pair was a greater possibility. I didn't really want to call off 250+ more hoping for a split.

So we're calling the turn getting 8:1, hoping to hit a 4 outer?

Bet fold the river here. As you played you need to call this river. If villains range here was solely JK and AJ this would be a call.
