It is technically illegal to work under a tourist visa not to mention illegal to gamble in Thailand so I think you can only exclude foreign income if you had a work permit in Thailand. Yeah, I have a room with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and cable TV. I was going to get a house/apartment a month ago but then I got mugged and only just got my credit card replacements. It won't really be worth it now because the costs of getting broadband are pretty high. If I come back to Laos after my 2-4 weeks in the US for Christmas, I'm going to get a nice house with a good internet connection.
Apparently there's a hostel here that costs $1/night. |
