Default Trip to Chicago in May

I'm planning on driving to Chicago with a few friends in May and was wondering if anyone had any advice on things to do/see. The main reason for the trip is to catch a Cubs/White Sox game. Any helpful advice is appreciated.

Lived in Chicago my whole life (which is 22 yrs.)

My favorite things: Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science & Industry, Millennium Park, jogging or biking down the lakefront path, Michigan Ave., and DEFINITELY go to a sox game. Cubs blow.

The suggestion about a ride down the chicago river is a good one. Make sure to go out at night, the chicago night life is great.

There have been quite a few chicago threads here already.

www.metromix.com
www.chicagobarproject.com for good info

blues:
kingston mines
buddy guys legends

jazz:
green mill
hothouse

pizza:
giordano's
some recommend lou malnati's..i've never had it

I'm personally a sox fan, but wrigley is in a much better area if you want to get hammered and hit up the bars.

Alright I havent checked the schedule but tickets go on sale on Friday for Cubs games. If you're gonna go see a Cubs/Sox game you better fire up that computer as soon as tix go on sale. I suggest goin to the game at Wrigley because the atmosphere is better and there is actual stuff to do around the ballpark. May i suggest bleacher seats as you will have the time of your life. Outside of the game- go to Gino's East for pizza. some fun stuff to do is goin to The Second City comedy club, Shedd Aquarium (basically any of the museums there are good). Dont go to Navy Pier, its not as fun as everyone says, its better for like a date or a family or something.

I like Lou Malanti's for deep-dish. D'agostino's for thin-crust. I personally think Uno blows.
