Default Live 8/b, I hate my 7542A

To my right is a somewhat tricky player (TP) with loose 3rd street standards. He tends to overvalue his high hands. To my left are an inveterate chaser (IC) who plays nearly everything on 3rd and cranky regular (CR) who plays a variety of high and low hands--- tight for this game but still much looser than I am --- but bets all his made lows strongly.

3rd street I have (A5)7 and limp in EP; about 6 players enter the pot, as is typical.

4th street I check/call a bet from CR's 7A up with (A5)74

5th street I face a bet from my right:

TP: (xx)899 bets calls
Me: (A5)742 calls calls
IC: (xx)4A2 calls calls
CR: (xx)7A3 raises

There are is just the one three dead, and one or two sixes dead. The last remaining ace fell on 4th street (QA or something like that.)

On 6th street all three players with low hands catch bricks. The pair of 9's checks, I check, IC checks, CR bets, the pair of 9's raises.

I decided to call two bets cold as did the player with 4A2 up. On 7th street the player with the nines checks again and I get another useless card. Do I plan on calling another two bets here to see showdown, or do I give up?

Is there a better line I should take, such as raising 5th myself, or giving up on 5th/6th?
