That's fine, as long as having it fun by mixing it up makes you feel OK when he shoves the turn against your marginal hand for 108xBB.

But don't we often get into situations where people raise our not-so-great hands? Or is our goal always to avoid such situations where you get raised when you don't have a lock? Is the only way to play this type of hand the usual check turn and call/VB river? I obv didn't expect a c/rai, but thought there could be value/protection to be had with a turn bet.

The double c/r is strange. Could he ever have like AA here? Its kind of FPSy enough to fit in with a flat call PF w/ AA.

I'd expect most draws to lead the turn, therefore I think it's wa/wb on the turn and we can check it behind. But idk.

Because I edited the HH by hand and screwed up Doesn't really mater though, replace it with any non-spade.

Is villains line a good line with a very strong hand then? Since we're calling off with just about anything? I think people fire a turn a lot if it goes check, bet, raise, call on flop and then check again. The player IP is pretty likely to bet out with a lot of hands here since the other player sort of announces that he's giving up?

In Heroes shoes with AQ, how often do you fire turn again as opposed to checking? What about with KK and AA? What hands are you more likely to bet out with, and what type of hands do you typically want to check behind this turn?

KK+ I would bet-call on the turn.
AQ sometimes.
The rest check behind; if he hits his 9-outer gg.
