New Dell 3007 monitor: "page fault in nonpaged area"

I appreciate all the responses. I bought a new card, the GeForce 8500 or some such which I know is meant to support the resolution, but again the same thing keeps happening. Party client windows open off the page completely and I get blue screens when I restart the computer and the monitor is on max res. I was wondering if possibly I need more RAM or something. At the moment I only have 1GB, should that be enough to power the 30" monitor?

download new drivers for monitor & video card from dell.com & nvidia.com respectively.
