Default AA OOP in heads up pot, a little bit deep on paired board

Villain is very loose and aggro. Not a lot of stats or history, but earlier we played this hand:

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $198.00
Hero (BB): $286.26
UTG: $295.69
MP: $88.94
CO: $206.40
BTN: $153.21

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
2 folds, <font color="red">CO raises to $7.00</font>, 2 folds, Hero calls $5.00

Flop: ($15) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">CO bets $10.00</font>, Hero calls $10.00

Turn: ($35) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">CO bets $22.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $76.00</font>, CO calls $54.00

River: ($187) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $122.00</font>, CO folds
Uncalled bet of $122.00 returned to Hero

Pot Size: $187.00

I probably shouldn't have and I usually don't, but I showed the KJ here because based my impression at the time was that this player was very loose and not very good, and so I wanted to be able to take him to value town. Plus he asked me to show before folding. After the hand he said that he folded a baby flush.

So anyway, the table breaks and we're left heads up. I think perhaps he's got a bit of a grudge against me after the hand shown, because usually people don't stick around for HU, but anyway about 10 hands, no major action so far, this hand comes up and I'm curious what people think. If I had my time over I would have check/called this river, but I wonder what other approaches people take to this hand? Is it just a case of getting it in, or should I be more circumspect from the outset?
