Would anyone here play the turn this way with a straight or overpair?

I don't think I could fold this, but it is pretty tough either way.

Lucky: if this is his standard c-bet amount, betting more with AA/KK would be a bigger mistake than giving odds due to revealing his hand too soon with deepstacks. If this is smaller than his normal c-bet, then it looks a lot more like straight/set.

i'm in the not folding camp as well, but is this a push or a flat call? i would assume flat call but interested to see what others think. notice effective stack sizes to start hand are ~$11k and after calling the turn raise we would have $3k left and there would be $16k in the pot.

call. only conceivable hand that beats you is 88, and the fact that he just called the flop makes 88 less likely

Or more likely rather since if he had 9 10 he may 3-bet and try to get the $ in now with deep stacks. Since the stacks are so deep and he has 88 he may be leary about 9 10 and wants the board to pair before he puts his whole stack in.
