Default rounders hand

I just watched the 1st scene of Rounders where Mike goes bust to KGB for the 1st time in along time and I was geeking out about how bad Mike McD played the hand. Doesnt say blinds but Mike button raises to $500w/ A9...KGG smooth calls and they take a flop of A9x two spades. Mike overbets the pot of @$1000 and bets $2K, KGB calls, turn is 9 check check. River completes spade flush. Teddy leads the river for $15K into a $5K pot. Mike put Teddy on a flush and raises another $30K thinking Teddy would call that with a flush. They have no play history so I dont see how he could expect KGB to pay him there. I know this post is pretty worthless. I'm just light up laughing abt how Mike McD is a donkey

I put it all on the line. That's true. And you know what? It wasn't a bad beat. I wasn't unlucky. I got outplayed. I got outplayed that time. But I know I'm good enough to sit at that table. It's not... It's not a [censored] pipe dream.

I think Mike Matusow once said "Its a movie" referring to a question on Rounders during a chat at FT
