Default Favorite sounds in sports

Fun little thread to get away from all the Pats/Colts, Bonds, and Miggy stuff.

Subject sums it up, what are your favorite sounds in sports?

I really like the sound of a "swish" in basketball. In contrast, the sound of a "clank" tilts the crap out of my ears.

Hitting the sweet spot with a bat (metal or wood) sounds so awesome.

I figured this would be the first response.

The sound of a baseball thwacking right in to the webbing is also very rewarding.

Hearing the "crunch" when the mics are up and one football player levels another is pretty damn cool.

"Clank" is the best sound in the world.

I'm a goalkeeper though.

The crowd after you make a real big save (especially a penalty); the cheers of your fans and the simultaneous "ohh's" of the other teams' fans is my personal favorite sound.
