[NL100] How can he call this river shove ???
I am a good winner at NL100 and I just lost 9 buyin in 5000 hands (a lot of tilt, of course, few bad beats...).
I don't understand how can he call me with 22 here ? He runs good (and I run very bad... I lost already 3BI on my 6 tables in 500 hands...) and I have reraised him one or two times. He is 28/18/2.8, I am very nitty 15.5/13.5/3.5. He holds 22 (I hide my cards). Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $95.55 BB: $69.70 UTG: $132.80 CO: $234.00 Hero (BTN): $95.00 Preflop: Hero is dealt ** ** (5 Players) UTG folds, CO raises to $3.00, Hero raises to $12.00, 2 folds, CO calls $9.00 Flop: ($25.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) CO checks, Hero bets $18.00, CO calls $18.00 Turn: ($61.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) CO checks, Hero checks River: ($61.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) CO checks, Hero bets all-in for $65.00, CO calls $65.00 Pot Size: $191.50 ($2 Rake) Must I shove the turn ? Just give up after the flop call ? |

Re: [NL100] How can he call this river shove ???
He calls because then he can show BBV how balla he is. And because you ain't representing any hand here. I guess you wouldn't shove the river with a T, 8 or a spiked Q, amirite?
Besides i really wouldn't pull any moves if my tableimage is bad already as nobody's going to believe you anyway. |

Re: [NL100] How can he call this river shove ???
I play a lot of hands in this way : KK/AA/QQ/AQ (I put him on a small PP...)/J9s/QTs...

Re: [NL100] How can he call this river shove ???
bluffing out of control= high variance, be prepared and your not representing much by a stab in the dark all in river, but don't get me wrong, i'm sure as hell not calling with 2's

Re: [NL100] How can he call this river shove ???
TBH i don't believe you'd play AA/KK this way. And you most likely don't repop J9s or QTs preflop. So you are either holding a monster or air. Now i don't think he made a good call at all, but i can understand his instintcts to look you up.

Re: [NL100] How can he call this river shove ???
he called with 22, because you checked the turn in a 3bet pot, which to me looks like AK, would you second barrel with JJ-AA?

Re: [NL100] How can he call this river shove ???
So, I had A9s and I lost this hand.
He beats only AJ and A9 (with AK, I check behind, because I have a little chance to win the SD). I can shove small PP too (44-66-77...) ! I just dont understand his fuc*ing call... Must I shove the turn to win this hand ? |
