Default 6/12 mix game badugi i dont understand...

i was playing this 6/12 mix game at redrock casino in vegas

it was holdem, omaha hilo, razz, badugi, stud 8/b, 2-7 triple draw

so heres why you shouldnt play games you dont know

it goes raise i 3b 234rK
everyone else folds he calls

he draws one i draw one

he c/cs

we both draw i catch a 7

i have 2347r now

he c/rs me

i just call not understanding how good my hand is

he stands pat i stand pat

he checks i check

he flips A246 i flip 2347

i dont understand why i won

then he asks why i didnt draw

i dont think i understand this game at all

lol

any help?

My guess: villian's A246 wasn't a badugi.

So there are some low limit mix games in Vegas, I got laugh at several time for asking.

if you were badugi I am not sure why he ask why you didnt draw, if you were not you prob should have.

There are occasionally, but you have to round up the players yourself. There are no regular games.

Guess I am gonna try at this redrock casino, heard the venetian was keen to do that kind of stuff too.

Rude, i'll break it down 4 ya...
4 cards of all different suits[a badugi] beats 4 cards of only 3 suits [and 3 beats 2, etc.
then...
if 2 or more opponents have 4 suits[or 3] the lowest hand of those 4[or3] cards wins.

anyways if any locals are interested

the games spread every friday night at midnight

sometimes more often per week i think on wednesday too

Call Venetian, Red Rock, and Treasure Island ahead of time. Those are your best bets for low mixes. Also, Red Rock is off the strip, be prepared for a $25+ cab ride each way Sebby.
