Besides the open-limp that wasn't too bad, actually. I think his whole post-flop play is excellent. Maybe you guys always cold call from button and over-defend blinds? In that case his open-limp may have been a solid play...

he wins less from my good hands by using his call/reraise line, but he doesn't risk my pushing the 3rd player out

also I call 1 but not 2 with some hands that could make tp and pay off on the turn and river

so I think preflop = moran but I'm undecided on the flop

Neither? It's not a terrible way to play the hand if he expects you to cap a lot of top pair hands so he can c/r the field on the turn.

I raise pf and flop if I'm him obviously, but I don't mind his flop 3-bet and it's a very minor thing any particular hand.
