I hate when I put myself in that situation. I hate checkraising ~22% of my stack on a draw out of position. Nothing worse than him calling and a blank hitting the turn. I realize that you have to make this play occasionally to balance the times you make it with a made hand. But that's the only valid reason to make the play.

I prefer to either keep the pot small by check-calling, or making a smallish bet at the flop giving myself decent odds if he calls. If he raises my flop bet, I can decide to get rid of my postitional disadvantage with a bet/3bet all in on the flop line, or I can get away from the hand if need be.

good post, thank you!

Letīs assume hero calls and turn is a blank :
What do you do if villian bets again?
Which odds do i need for a call?
Are there situations where i can make a "+EV-Play" with an unimproved hand on the River?

This flop line is pretty much standard for me. If he puts me all in, which will happen only rarely, I will be ok folding my draw to what is then certainly a better hand.

I do. If I bet/3bet all in with "flush draw plus" hands occasionally, then I have to do it occasionally with sets and 2 pair and overpair hands too.

Yeah, depends how often I play them. If its a lot obviously I have to throw in some sets, one-pair, air hands in every now and then.
