Default Stars 1/2 KJs from small blind

No reads, Game is tight passive, example players cold calling with AK preflop.
Comments on all streets. Was out of line with my aggression?

I'd probably c/c the river. If you're going to put in a bet anyway, it costs you exactly the same to c/c. If he has a diamond, we're dead either way. If he doesn't, a check could induce a bluff on the four-to-flush board.

Passive players should check behind river without a flush right? Maybe even with a small flush. I don't see much reason to bet.

I like the bet fold on the river. I would be more inclined to c/c with a small flush.

just because there's a 4flush doesn't mean we should forget the point of betting for value and folding to a raise: we bet because worse hands will call. we fold because worse hands are never raising.

What hand do you put villain on when you bet the river? He raised pre-flop but went into call down mode when you check raised him on the flop. I think he has something like AQ headed by the Ace of diamonds or he would have folded before the river (assuming that he is tight passive). My initial reaction when I saw the hand was to bet/fold the river, but the more I think about it the more I start to wonder whether to check/fold it. What hands could villian have that are consistent with his betting that don't include a diamond? I agree that bet/fold is better than check/call though.

Clarkmeister b/f on the river looks good, although if the game is tight passive I'm not sure you get called enough with a worse hand for there to be much value in it. AK migth call but not many worse hands. I doubt any better hand folds (KQ we would probably have heard of, passive or not).

I think you played this hand well. This seems like a great spot for a river bet/fold. I think you have a chance to get a crying call out of a hand like AQ or QJ.
