If you suspect he's floating you, check raise turn. 2 on the turn is a good card for you to check raise because it didn't improve his hand.

looks like nuts or nuts imo...he'd have to be floating the flop with a player behind him with complete air.

edit: by nuts i mean big queens and better

[/ QUOTE ]

I dont know....based on what you've said about your table image and his solid play I could see him calling with KQ preflop. He may think you are loose and can pick you off down the line. I believe you made a mistake by just checking on the turn. His call on the flop didnt reveal much and you still do not have a real good idea where you are, and if you dont reraise you are denying yourself information. If you bet the turn and he raises you know where you are. If he folds, you've won a good pot. If he calls, you bet again on the river. I doubt he is holding AK.

Nuts or nothing? It's a Q or better or nothing I'd say. And very rarely nothing given flop being 3 way. I don't think you're being owned by 88-JJ though, if thats what you are asking.

Why checkraise when he is instafolding if he floated with air, but may fire again on the river if you tank and call? You make more money snapping off a river barrel than check shoving here and turning your 77 into a bluff.
