durron,

Pretty much all forum split/expansion ideas that aren't stupid are received well. Idiotic ideas are usually given the level of respect they're due.

Diebitter

I don't understand why this can't just be sbout BBV/BBV4life? Why can't you just say nice to see BBV/BBV4life doing so well congratulations to Mat and Gilwulf. It doesn't have to be about OOT or this imaginary war you seem to fighting. OOT/ELD/BBV/BBV4life are all doing wonderfully and have made 2p2 a better forum. How's the lounge doing, maybe your time would be better spent on that?

I think El D hit the nail on the head, OOT/ELD/BBV/BBV4life complement each other pretty well for different reasons.

Gild, does that settle the debate on the test forum over this issue?

Gildwulf,

If you remove terrible "aments" posts from the forum counts I bet OOT is still solidly in front.

el d,

i think most bbv'ers problem with oot is that it is moderated horrendously by mods who are about as cliquey as physically possible. now I'm sure this notion will be laughed at even though we already know its true, and I know there are extenuating circumstances(the creation of el d forum, etc) but their post count has almost been cut in half. i think a lot of it has to do with the heavy handed, senseless moderating that those mods have chosen to deploy.

also, i realize that the el d forum has almost the same mods as oot. but people are drawn to el d forum by the man himself. whereas oot doesn't have the same freedom to moderate so poorly because people get tired of it and go to some of the forums that are now much more interesting and creative and not moderated by people who are going to punish a user for saying a phrase that the mod doesn't think is funny. I'm sure the OOT mods wont change, mostly because their stubbornness and the idea that they can always figure out some way to make themselves think they're always right is what annoys people in the first place.

what about this debacle?

I would have linked to the original thread if it hadnt been moved to the mod forum. It was pretty much exactly the same as the post you linked, but just with a little you throwing a tantrum added on.

well you seemed to be insinuating bbv has no content posts where someone says "hey, dont say ____" then everyone piles on to say it. I was pointing out that you caused almost the exact same thread in oot. so I'm surprised you complained about bbv doing it.
