i got berated for this play.... (400NL)
...by villain whoms play i actually respect quite a lot. He is very very solid. Not much of the funny stuff though. So i figured ill put it up for you guys, to see what you think...
my image must be nitty probably... One meta-consideration that i took into account for this hand: we hardly played any hands together since then, but about an hour prior to this we had a blind battle at an other table where he raised from the SB, i called from the BB with 98o, had a 943scc flop where he bet and i called, a 7c turn where we both checked, and a Td where i called 2/3potbet. I dislike every street. Raise flop, bet turn, raise more on the river. What is your reasoning for each street?

There is no reasoning for checking behind and minraising the river.
I am pretty sure he stacks off and he berated you for a right reason (although it's stupid to berate someone for a play that saved you money).

i dont know what you are trying to get at with your "metagame" consideration, but this hand is bad on every postflop street.
raise flop, bet turn, raise river bigger etc etc...

I guess on the river if you raise anything more substantial then you are almost over-representing your hand (since KT got there). However failing to bet the turn is a big error here imo unless you never ever float and this guy is a real nit when it comes to calling down...
